No accounts. No tracking. Chats stay inside your browser.

This page is maintained by the ModCrafter team to answer common questions about how the app handles your data. It describes current practices and is not a certification or audit.

Your chats stay in your browser

LocalBrowser Only

Conversation history is stored only in your browser's local storage on this device. There are no accounts and no server-side chat database. Clearing your browser data deletes your history, and deleting a thread in the sidebar removes it immediately.

What leaves your device

Encrypted

When you send a message, the text of your conversation is sent to ModCrafter's server, which forwards it to an AI model to generate the datapack. Only the message content is needed to generate a response — don't include personal information in your prompts.

Downloads are built locally

LocalTransparent

The datapack zip file is assembled entirely in your browser from the files the AI generated. Nothing extra is bundled in: every file in the zip is visible in the datapack card before you download it.

What's in a datapack

SafeInspectable

Datapacks contain only plain-text Minecraft files (JSON and .mcfunction commands). They cannot contain executable programs. Still, you can inspect any pack by unzipping it — we encourage it. Review packs before using them on shared servers.

No tracking, no account

ModCrafter doesn't require sign-up and doesn't sell or share your prompts. Standard hosting logs (such as request metadata) may be kept temporarily to operate the service.
